About Us

Dr. Steven Arima

Born in Los Angeles, Dr. Arima was raised in the San Fernando Valley and has lived in Valencia since 1989. He earned his bachelor's of science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from California State University at Northridge. He continued his education to receive a doctorate of dental surgery (DDS) and a bachelor's degree in dental science from University of California at San Francisco. After being selected for a residency program in advanced cosmetic and general practice dentistry, Dr. Arima became a certified resident at Loma Linda Veteran's Hospital.

In 1989, Dr. Arima married Rhonda and moved to the Santa Clarita Valley to open his cosmetic and family dental practice in the new and growing community. In April of 2007, after many years of practice in Saugus and Newhall, Dr. Arima finished his custom built, professionally decorated dream office. The practice is located in a brand new building on Tourney Road in Valencia, where Dr. Arima continues to provide excellent cosmetic and family dental care. After many years of building beautiful smiles in Santa Clarita Valley, Dr. Arima maintains the enthusiasm and motivation that prompted him to pursue a career in dentistry. He holds membership with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Fernando Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and he is a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Arima's three children are his pride and joy: Ryan, the oldest, Megan, the only girl, and Chasen, the baby of the family. When he isn't working, Dr. Arima enjoys golf, scuba diving, playing online games, and he is a nationally ranked second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. His main pastime is having fun with the family and enjoying his kids' many sporting and club endeavors.

Lucia de Dios – Practice Manager Lucia's patience, dedication, and positive attitude compliment our team's commitment to creating a positive and rewarding dental experience for every patient. She has more than 20 years of experience in the dental field and is enthusiastic to share her knowledge with anyone who asks. She's also a great listener – tell her your concerns, ask her your questions. Lucia's primary goal is to see every patient leave with a reason to show off his or her smile!
Lisa Pittman, Registered Dental Hygienist With compassion and a gentle touch, Lisa has been practicing dental hygiene for over 20 years. She strives to build positive relationships with patients and to provide dental health education that empowers people to achieve optimal oral health. Lisa's goals are to prevent and treat periodontal disease and to help maintain periodontal health in order to enhance wellness and quality of life.
RaeAnn Martin, Registered Dental Assistant RaeAnn has worked in general dentistry and orthodontics for 20 years. She enjoys patients of all ages and from all walks of life. Her challenge is to help a fearful patient gain a new outlook about visiting the dentist, undergo needed dental work, and put trust in our dental team. RaeAnn enjoys enhancing smiles and lives through cosmetic dentistry.
Cathy Alvarez, Dental Receptionist Cathy is sure to greet you by name with a friendly smile. She has more than five years of experience as a dental receptionist. Her friendly voice will be the one that you hear on the phone for appointment confirmations, and she will work hard to accommodate your scheduling needs. Cathy enjoys managing our recall visits and is an expert on insurance information. She is ready to help in any way she can. Expect her to treat you like family!
Kristina Hughes, Dental Assistant Kristina has enjoyed being in the dental field for over 3 years. She is exited about the technical revolution in dentistry and what we have to offer patients today. Working closely with our patients is important to Kristina to ensure their comfort, answer their questions and make their visit a positive experience.
